AR Introduces New Version of Virtual Field Monitor

Model VM7000 Controls AR Field Probes

Souderton, PA - 5/16/08 - AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation has introduced version 3.0 of its popular VM7000 Virtual field Monitor. The unit simultaneously controls and operates any combination of the following AR laser and battery powered field probes series: Models FL7000, PL7000, FP7000 and FH7000.

The VM7000 version 3.0 can control up to 16 probes through RS-232, GPIB or USB ports, using one port per probe. It provides a graphical user interface for effortless control of all probes, while displaying probe data and status. Other features include: the ability for the user to change sample rates and enabled axes of all enabled probes, and automatic setup for any of the AR probes. The user can select any of the following display configurations: XYZ, Min/Max Average, Min/Max Hold and graphical. All the features of AR’s FM7004 field monitor’s frequency correction have been duplicated in the new VM7000; allowing the ability to internally apply correction factors to field probe reading.
