AR Adds New Traveling Wave Tube Amplifiers
For More Power Choices Across 18 – 40 GHz Frequency
Band
Souderton, PA - 9/28/06 - AR RF/Microwave
Instrumentation has introduced two additional traveling
wave tube amplifiers (TWTs)
as part of its commitment to offer more power choices.
Model 70T18G26 provides
75 watts CW over the 18 – 26.5 GHz range; and
model 70T26G40 delivers
70 watts CW in the 26.5 – 40
GHz frequency range. The additional units enable users
to get the power they need, without paying for more
power than is necessary.
Both of the new units are designed for applications
where wide instantaneous bandwidth, high gain and moderate
power output are required. They provide readily available
RF power for a variety of applications in Test and
Measurement (including EMC RF susceptibility testing),
Industrial and University research and development,
and service applications.
Like the other AR TWTs, the new models include
a number of impressive features, such as a built-in
IEEE-4888 (GPIB) interface, 0dBm input, VSWR protection,
gain control, RF output sample port, auto sleep, plus
monitoring of TWT helix current, cathode voltage, baseplate
temperature and cabinet temperature.
