AR Ethernet Adapter Allows AR Products
To Be Remotely Monitored & Controlled

Souderton, PA – 4/4/05 – AR has introduced the Model IA232ET Ethernet Interface. When used with an AR product that is equipped with an RS-232 interface, the adapter allows the product to be connected to IP-based Ethernet networks.

Using a method called serial tunneling, the IA232ET encapsulates serial data into packets and transports it over the Ethernet. Through the use of the IA232ET adapter, AR products can be remotely monitored, managed, and controlled over both 10Base-T and 100Base-TX networks, eliminating limited distance point-to-point connections.
